Sustainability at Sinclair

Sustainability at Sinclair

Sinclair Community College is actively engaged in a very important energy savings initiative. As directed by House Bill 251, Sinclair MUST reduce its energy consumption by 20 percent over a 2004 base year, and do it by 2014.

“The goal of each institution shall be to reduce on- and off-campus building energy consumption by at least 20 percent by ... 2014” – Ohio House Bill 251

We need everyone including Students, Faculty and Staff to participate and support this initiative in order to be successful. This is not just about satisfying HB 251 compliance, but it is also the right thing to do as a good community citizen and from a resource stewardship perspective.
