2013-2014 Season
NIGHTS TO REMEMBER

Sinclair Theatre ‘s 2013-14 Season will be include a musical, original plays, a Holocaust story and “the perfect farce”:
Monty Python’s SPAMALOT – a new musical lovingly ripped off from the motion picture “Monty Python and The Holy Grail” with book and lyrics by Eric Idle and music by John Du Prez and Eric Idle. It’s the story of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table as they embark on their quest for the Holy Grail. Flying cows, killer rabbits, the lady of the lake and show-stopping musical numbers are just part of this hilarious, yet highly irreverent parody.
jux·ta·posed -- which means: to place close together or side by side, especially for comparison or contrast. Sinclair Theatre will offer a night of two original, one act plays: two playwrights, two directors, switching places yet side by side. THE ART OF DYING by Nelson Sheeley, will be directed by John Ray. And a play that is being written by John Ray, will be directed by Nelson Sheeley.
A SHAYNA MAIDEL, by Barbara Lebow -- The story of two sisters: one, a modern American who remembers very little of her childhood in Poland and the other, who has survived unspeakable losses including a concentration camp. Worlds collide as one sister gradually shares the losses that have scarred her and the other learns her tragic family history.
A FLEA IN HER EAR, by Georges Feydeau, translated by Nelson Sheeley, has been called “the perfect farce” for good reason. It involves a large cast with mistaken identities, faithless and faithful spouses, a letter, a hotel, a naughty maid, a bellhop and a few gun shots.
