Dayton, OH – Sinclair Women’s Tennis lost 0-9 on the road at Ohio Northern University Tuesday.

In the final match before the NJCAA Region XII tournament, Sinclair took to the courts against a very talented Polar Bear team. Ohio Northern returned several players that included a 2nd team all-conference player and as well as a number of seasoned veterans.

Sinclair has the only Community College Women’s Tennis team in the state of Ohio, thus forcing the Pride to compete against 4 year varsity players from 4 year institutions. Many times our 1st year players were looking across the net at players that were entering their 4th year of college competition. Entering this weekend tournament, the Pride will have a chance to face competition of equal experience.

Sinclair (1-9) will travel to Grand Rapids (MI) on Thursday for the start of the NJCAA Region XII Tournament. Top two teams from the Regional will advance to the NJCAA Nationals this coming Spring.
