Madden Women's Association Scholarship:  For African-American females with primary residence in Ohio and a GPA of 2.5 or greater.  Application deadline is April 17, 2015.  To view application details, click here.

Soroptimist Women's Education Award:  Soroptimist International of Dayton is an international volunteer organization for business and professional women who work to improve the lives of women and girls in the local community and around the world.   Scholarship applications for an annual $1,000 scholarship must be submitted by April 4th by email to ses2975@aol.com.  For questions, please call Susan Sparks at 937-478-9510.  To view the scholarship application, please click here.

Ohio EPA/Ohio Academy of Science Scholarship:  Up to $1,250 available to second-year students in 2-year degree programs at Ohio community colleges through the Ohio Academy of Science.  This scholarship is for students in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Biology, and other majors who maintain at least a 3.0 GPA.  The scholarship application deadline is April 15th, 2015.  For further infomation, please click here.

American Association of University Women:  the Champaign Branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) is now accepting applications for a renewable $1,000 scholarship for a woman returning to school during the 2015-16 academic year.  applicants must live, work, or attend school in Champaign county and be out of high school for at least three years before applying.  Preference will be given to applicants who are earning their first degree or credential.  Applications are due May 15 and may be found at http://champaign-oh.aauw.net/

American Addiction Centers Scholarship:  Scholarships for those majoring in behavioral health, nursing, counseling, psychology, social work, marriage/family therapy, or other program focusing on treating mental health and/or substance abuse issues.  Submission deadline is May 31, 2015.  For more information and to view application, visit http://americanaddictioncenters.org/behavioral-health-academic-scholarship/

PFLAG Dayton Scholarships:  The PFLAG of Dayton is offering a total of four scholarships, three from the Dayton PFLAG and one from the Greater Dayton LGBT Center.  Applications must be submitted by Wednesday, April 15th.  To learn more about the scholarships and access the application, click here

Anthony Muñoz Foundation Scholarships:  The Anthony Muñoz Foundation is offering Greater Cincinnati high school seniors funding towards continuing their education at local colleges and universities.  Applications are due April 30th, and information can be found at www.munozfoundation.org or by clicking here.

Scholarship for Students in Northern Panhandle of West Virginia:  The Northern Panhandle Conservation District will be awarding a scholarship of up to $1,500 to an undergraduate student who is a resident of a Northern Panhandle County.  Scholarship applications must be submitted by 4:00pm on July 1, 2015.  For full scholarship criteria and application, click here.

 AmericanMuscle Automotive Scholarship:  Each semester, AmericanMuscle awards 2 scholarships of $2,000 each to students pursuing an education in Automotive Technology or a related field.  Essays for Spring semester applicants are due by October 15th, and essays for Fall semester applicants are due by July 15th.  Students can learn more and apply at www.americanmuscle.com/scholarships.html

A Place for Mom Senior Care Innovation Scholarship:  Five $1000 scholarships available to students enrolled in an Associate's, Bachelor's, or graduate level program at an accredited school in the fields of gerontology, medicine, nursing, social work, sociology, psychology, physical or occupational therapy, speech pathology or long-term care administration.  Deadline April 15, 2015.  Essay topic and details found at www.aplaceformom.com/scholarship.
