Getting Started at WPAFB
Meet Requirements to Receive a WPAFB Student Pass
Students registered for classes at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base must obtain a student pass in order to attend classes.
In compliance with the policies of the United States Air Force (USAF) and Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB), Sinclair is required to provide the following information to the USAF on all students who will attend a course on base:
- Student’s full name
- Student’s social security number
- Student's Drivers License number and issuing state
This information will be used by the USAF to complete a background check that is required before a student pass can be issued.
If you do not wish to have this information released as outlined above, you will need to officially withdraw from the course through Web Advisor (via my.sinclair Student Portal) or by calling Sinclair at (937) 512-3000 at least one week prior to the start of your class. If you are still enrolled in your class one week prior to the first day, your information will be forwarded to WPAFB.
If you register for a WPAFB class during "Late Registration," you will have 24 hours from the date of registration to drop your class if you do not wish to have your information released as outlined above.
If you have questions about this process, please call the Sinclair at WPAFB office at (937) 781-9800 or the Distance Learning office at (937) 512-2990.
Pick Up Your WPAFB Student Pass
