Men Lose to Cincinnati State

Dayton, OH – Sinclair looking to get back on track and gain some momentum as they head into the last two weeks of the season will have to wait a few days for a possible win. Cincinnati State came into town knowing a win would give them at least a share of the OCCAC title. And during the contest, Cincinnati State was selected 22nd in the Nation and they showed why they are worthy of that ranking.

The Pride, shooting 30% from the field and 0 for 9 from the three point line, found themselves down 44-25 at the half. In the second half it was all Cincinnati as they would end The Pride's hopes of getting back into the game with the final of 122-65.

Leading the way for Sinclair was Charlie Byers, Freshmen from Moeller H.S. had 19 points.

The Pride dropped to 14-13 overall and 2-8 in conference play.

Sinclair's next home game will be on Saturday, February 25, as both Men and Women play OCCAC opponent Cuyahoga Community College from Cleveland. Saturday, The Tartan Pride will honor their second year players at the start of the game.

Game Time on Saturday will be 2:00 PM. The games will be played at the downtown campus in Building 8.
