Sinclair Partners for CTP Preparation Course

Sinclair Community College Workforce Development is partnering with the Southwest Ohio Association for Financial Professionals (SWOAFP) and McGohan Brabender to present the CTP (Certified Treasury Professional) Preparation course. SWOAFP is the primary association for treasury and finance professionals in the Greater Cincinnati and Dayton areas.

The course teaches the essential principles and functional practices of corporate cash and treasury management. Based on the CTP body of knowledge and written by finance experts, it is the preferred study resource for the CTP exam.

"This training provides a comprehensive overview of the full scope of concepts in treasury management," said Amy Bentley, SWOAFP Co-President. "Obtaining the CTP designation demonstrates a core competency in treasury management and a commitment to the profession. It also offers the opportunity for higher salaries and greater career opportunities along with the added bonus of greater career flexibility."

Bill Doering, retired Treasurer at the University of Cincinnati, will be instructing the course. Doering was a member of the Big Ten Treasurers Association and has been a member of the Association of Financial Professionals (AFP) and SWOAFP since 1989.

Classes will be held over four Fridays, April 27 through May 25, on alternating dates at McGohan Brabender learning centers at 3931 S. Dixie Drive in Dayton and at 7800 East Kemper Road in Cincinnati.

The fee for the course, which includes the AFP Learning System™ Treasury, is $1,195 per person, $1,095 for AFP members. Registration is open through April 18. Individuals may register online at Sinclair's Certified Treasury Professional Preparation site or contact Sinclair Workforce Development: workforcedevelopment@sinclair.edu or 937-252-9787.
