The Financial Aid & Scholarships Office at Sinclair Community College coordinates financial assistance (federal, state, institutional, and private) offered to students. Our fundamental purpose is to provide financial assistance to students who, without such aid, may not be able to attend college.
Financial assistance is offered to students to assist them with funds needed to pay educational costs, which is the difference between the actual cost of attendance and what a student can afford to pay as determined by the family’s Student Aid Index (SAI) calculated by FAFSA. A financial aid offer may consist of grants, loans, employment, and scholarships. All aid offers are made on a non-discriminatory basis and can be withheld if a student does not meet stated policies.
