Sinclair Theatre presents a FREE Readers Theater production of The Brick and The Rose by Lewis John Carlino on Wednesday, March 26 at 5:30 p.m. and Thursday, March 27 at 1:30 and 5:30 p.m. in the Black Box Theatre, Room 2411, on Sinclair's Downtown Campus.
Directed by Gina Neuerer, the play, performed in a unique theatre style, has been called a "collage of voices" that depict a young man's spiral into drug addition in his search for life's meaning. Fourteen actors portray 47 characters in this powerful and compelling drama.
Admission is free with limited general seating. Performances will begin promptly and no latecomers will be seated. The Black Box Theatre is located on the fourth floor of building 2 which can be accessed from the third floor via a short staircase. An electronic lift is available on the stairs until 10 minutes before productions; early arrival is requested.
