Sinclair to Host Safety Awareness Expo

The Sinclair Community College Police Department is hosting its 28th Annual Safety Awareness Expo on Wednesday, September 16. The Expo is co-sponsored by the Miami Valley Crime Prevention Association.

The day's activities will be held on the Sinclair plaza outside Building 10 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and include:

Over 35 area police departments, law enforcement agencies, safety-related organizations and Sinclair clubs and organizations will be featuring interactive displays.
The Building 10 plaza and West 4th Street area will be surrounded with a variety of police vehicles and specialty cars.
K-9 demonstrations.
Hands on digital fire extinquisher training.
Rapelling exercises.
Water rescue exercises on the Great Miami River.
Over 200 safety, law enforcement and fire high school students from various vocational schools in the Miami Valley.
Free popcorn and cotton candy.
Many Sinclair clubs and organizations will be on hand to provide information and activities.
