What is Make a Difference Day

Make a Difference Day is a national tradition spanning 19 years, including this year's events on October 25th and 26th , 2013.  It is the largest national day commited to people helping each other--working in unity to achieve common goals.

Ohio adopted Make a Difference Day in 1998, and since then has been the leader in the number of service activities and projects completed on the day.

Sinclair students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends of Sinclair are invited each year to reserve one day and lend a helping hand with one or more of the many projects listed on the Service Learning database at http://Servicelearning.sinclair.edu/.

Sinclair faculty are encouraged to use Make a Difference Day opportunities as Service Learning projects within their courses. Faculty may contact the Service Learning Coordinator for additional information at 937.512.5040 or service.learning@sinclair.edu.
