Spring Habitat Build Off To Great Start!
A very big thank you and job well done to all of those that helped make the Sinclair/Habitat house build kickoff a success this past Saturday. We especially thank Mike Whittington and Bob Plummer who did a tremendous job with their students in getting the foundation and floor framing ready for the volunteers.
Even thought it was overcast and drizzling, volunteers put down the floor decking and set the walls in place; a great start to the project!
Three photos are attached. The first shows Habitat Director Ann Charles Watts, future homeowner LaShon Adams and Dr. Helen Grove during a ceremonial groundbreaking for Habitat’s first house of the year. The second photo shows the floor decking being installed and the third the walls being erected.
