Bidding for many items has already been conducted in a cooperative type environment. Contract pricing through the State of Ohio-Purchasing Contracts, Inter-University Council Purchasing Group and the General Services Administration need not be re-bid.
Items identical to those on the contracts, which are available from another source at a more favorable price, may also be excluded from the normal bidding requirements.
