Accessible Parking

People with temporary disabilities can request a temporary disability placard from the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles.

For further assistance, students may contact Accessibility Services at 937-512-5113 or go to Building 10, Room 424; employees may contact Business Services at 937-512-2518 or go to Building 7, Room 324.

Dayton Campus ADA Parking Options

ADA parking for students, visitors & part-time employees:

  • Lot A: student parking garage, level 3
  • Lot B: enter from Fourth Street
  • Lot E: enter off of Perry Street (near Building 9)
  • Lot K: student lot beside Building 13

If the lot is full, parking attendants can confirm if any ADA spaces may still be available.

Details on Accessible Parking Options

 

Lot A -  This is a parking garage with 6' 9" clearance. Entrance and exit from West Fifth Street or Mead Street. This lot is an open access lot.

An elevator is available on the east side of the parking garage.

Level 2 East

  • 4 accessible parking spaces
  • 2 van accessible parking spaces

Level 3 West - access to the third level walkway leading to Buildings 3 & 4

  • 36 accessible parking spaces
  • 3 van accessible parking spaces

Level 3 East - access to the third level walkway leading to Building 14 and a third level walkway to Building 13

  • 23 accessible parking spaces
  • 5 van accessible parking spaces

Level 4 East

  • 4 accessible parking spaces
  • 2 van accessible parking spaces

Lot B - Entrance from Fourth Street, exit on West Fifth Street, next to Building 17. This lot is an open access lot.

  • 2 accessible parking spaces
  • 1 van accessible parking space

Lot E - Entrance from Perry Street, exit on West Fifth Street, next to Building 9. This lot is an open access lot.

  • 3 accessible parking spaces

Lot I - Entrance and exit from Court (Ludlow) Street, next to Building 19. This is an open access lot.

  • 3 accessible parking spaces
  • 1 van accessible parking space

Lot K - Entrance and exit from Longworth Street, next to Building 13. This lot is an open access lot.

  • 4 accessible parking spaces
  • 2 van accessible parking spaces

Lot L - Entrance from Perry Street and exit on Fourth Street, next to Building 14.

Lot M - Entrance and exit from Fifth Street, next to Building 20. This lot is an open access lot.
