WELCOME BACK TO THE BUSINESS AND PUBLIC SERVICES DIVISION! |
|
We are excited that you have chosen to return to the Business and Public Services Division. We have revised many of our programs and courses, and have added a number of electronic improvements for your benefit. Whether you've been gone awhile, or have been attending regularly, you can stay current by checking our website. We have added a new link entitled Transfer Opportunities designed to give you information and options to meet your immediate and long range transfer goals. Please check it often so that you can keep up with the transfer updates and announcements. If you feel you need assistance in choosing a career direction, visit the Career Services web page. We also encourage you to go to our Departments location for in depth program information. If you have questions about specific degree and certificate offerings, course content, etc., the Department Chairpersons will be happy to answer them and offer insight into many of the “hot” career fields associated with their programs. Don’t forget to review our Need2Know area for information affecting the world of Business. After you’ve carefully reviewed the Department’s degree and certificate program information, if the program major you’ve chosen does not match your goals, then you should complete and return the online Adjust/Change Major OR Evaluation Request form. Finally, another major tool for your use will be the Degree Audit. It allows you to electronically track your program progress by accessing it online from either the Web Advisor or from any of the on campus In Touch Kiosks. We encourage you to use it before selecting your quarterly classes. Once you’ve done so, it will become indispensable! If you wish to learn more about your next steps, we have prepared two Returning Student Checklists for your review. The first gives the next steps for students returning after a year or more, the second check list will give scheduling tips for those who have attended within the past year. Feel free to print a copy and refer to it often. We also welcome your feedback about our website, so please let us know. |
