PARALEGAL DEPARTMENT

Repeating Courses Policy

REPEATING COURSES POLICY

If you receive a grade below a "C" in PAR 1101, PAR 1102, and/or PAR 1103, you must repeat the course(s) to receive credit for them.  You may not enroll in any other PAR course until you pass PAR 1101, PAR 1102, and PAR 1103, which are the foundations for all other PAR classes.  Please take note of the following policy:

Students who do not receive a “C” or better, after two attempts, in any required Paralegal classes will be withdrawn from the Paralegal Program.

Paralegal students who have been withdrawn from the program may not apply for re-admission to the program for two years.  The returning student must schedule an appointment with the department Chair and obtain a signature before registering for any Paralegal course.

Students who do not receive a “C,” or better, after two attempts in any elective Paralegal class may not retake that course but may take other elective Paralegal classes.
