Child & Family Education (CFE)

Welcome to the Child and Family Education Department! We are a diverse department that offers two degree programs for careers in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or American Sign Language Interpreting for the Deaf (ASL). Our department also includes two early childhood education centers for children ages 3-5, a library, and a lab with state of the art technology.

The broad range of these career programs will prepare you with the skills and competencies for employment either as a paraprofessional service provider working with people with disabilities, an early childhood educator, or a sign language interpreter.

We offer quality education through active, authentic learning experiences.
