Associate of Applied Science Degree

Program outcomes are integral to the design and assessment of curriculum coursework.

With successful completion of both classroom and clinical coursework, the student will be awarded  the Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree by Sinclair Commuinity College (SCC). SCC has awarded this degree since 1979 with continued accreditation by the Commission for Accreditation of Physical Therapy Education.

Once the AAS degree is awarded, the graduate applies to the state licensing board for approval to take both the state laws and rules examination and the national examination. Each state has a separate set of application requirements, but all states use the results of the national examination.  Licensing occurs following graduation and meeting requirements of the licensing board.
