Astronomy (AST)

Lalitha Locker, Chairperson
Physics Department (AST, PHY)

Welcome to the Astronomy Department at Sinclair Community College.  Astronomers use the laws of physics, chemistry, biology, and geology to study the universe, including the Earth as a planet and everything beyond the Earth's atmosphere.  Sinclair offers students an out-of-this-world opportunity to learn about astronomy.

Astronomy is part of the Physics and Astronomy Department.  For more information, visit the Physics Department web site.
