Three college students take on the challenge of giving up their computers to see how their academic, social, and work lives are affected. No Facebook. No YouTube. No e-mail. How will they get their work done? Will they cheat? Who will survive the longest?

Following the movie, CultureMASH co-founders Shana Douglas and Carla Weis-Hale will lead a discussion about the impact social media has made on communication. Recently, Douglas initiated a personal hiatus of Facebook to better connect with the world around her and will share her realizations from the experiment.

CultureMASH is a new revolution towards social good and social change – where volunteerism meets creativity. This group of marketing professionals is a unified using their talents and voices to amplify the regions causes, enhance outreach initiatives and transform our younger generation into future leaders.
