ABLE - Adult Basic Literacy Education

This program serves adults at the basic literacy level and those who want to acquire English language skills. Adults establish specific goals to aid them in becoming productive members of the family, community, and workplace. Activities are constructed with the student's input to enable them to achieve their goals in a timely manner. Multimedia computers are used to enhance the students' ability to achieve their goals as well as compete in a technological society. It is anticipated that 75% of the students will achieve at least five goals in a calendar year.
