Lucie Podrouzkova is a professor of English at Masaryk University in the Czech Republic. Her title when she visited us was actually "Magister", which corresponds roughly to our professor with an MA. Since that time she has completed her PhD.
Dr. Podrouzkova teaches advanced students who are planning to become English teachers. When she visited Sinclair in October 2003 she spoke to several classes, to faculty, and to the Dayton Council on World Affairs. The subject was How European Students look at American Life and Culture.
More recently, Podrouzkova hosted visiting Sinclair students at Masaryk University.
