OTA 1261 Directed Practice I

3.0 Credit Hours

Introduction to people with physical, psychosocial and/or developmental disabilities. Using a holistic approach, observations will be documented in traditional occupational therapy notewriting formats. Mentorship will be provided by second-year occupational therapy assistant students in collaboration with and direct supervision of an occupational therapist. Two classroom, five directed practice hours per week.
Prerequisite: OTA 1101 AND BIO 1107 AND ALH 1101
