NSG 1100 Human Response Assessment
4.0 Credit Hours
Discusses scope and practice of nursing profession and philosophy/framework of Sinclair Nursing Program. Introduces human response, nursing process, evidence-based practice, and clinical judgment. Develops assessment techniques to identify normal/abnormal human responses. Provides a foundation in patient-centered care, communication, health promotion/disease prevention, safety, and documentation. Forty five (45) class, thirty (30) lab, and fifteen (15) clinical hours per semester.
