NSG 2201 Promoting Healthy Responses to Psychosocial Stressors

2.0 Credit Hours

Applies knowledge of human responses to specific stressors of anxiety, mood disorders, thought disorders, abuse, and personality disorders. Emphasizes therapeutic communication, and patient education. Begins application of decision-making and clinical judgment, management of nursing care, and resource management in mental healthcare settings. Thirty (30) class hours per semester.
