The Exercise Specialist certificate is designed to provide necessary knowledge and skills for employment in the fitness and exercise industry. Students acquire knowledge and skills in exercise science with the goal of being able to administer basic fitness assessments and health risk appraisals. Additionally, students acquire current information on exercise, nutrition and wellness and prepare to sit for and successfully pass a national certification exam.
