The Bakery Specialist Short Term certificate program is designed to provide students the knowledge and skills necessary to be employed in a commercial retail bakery after completion.
A certificate earned in this program is awarded by the college upon successful completion and can be applied toward the Hospitality Management degree/Culinary Arts Option degree program.
Practical application of basic baking ingredients, weights and measures, terminology and formula calculations. Use of mixes and frozen bakery products to create commercial-grade finished products. One classroom, two lab hours per week.
