



Dayton, OH – Sinclair (1-0/0-0) Men’s Basketball opened the season at Cedarville University Thursday night with a 91-80 victory over a talented Yellow Jacket JV squad.
Sinclair had 5 players score in double figures with a trio scoring a team high 18 points each.
Freshman Darrien Wilkins (6-5/Cincinnati Princeton H.S.), started his college career by posting the first Double/Double of the year - 18 points / 15 rebounds.
Two other freshmen joined Darrien with 18 point performances Thursday night; Chaminade Julienne product Jonathan Bibbs (6-4/Dayton, OH) and Kenny Knight (6-7/Cincinnati Aiken H.S.).
Rounding out the double figure scoring column for the Pride, Centerville grad Patrick Crawford (6-1/Centerville, OH) and Trent Maddox (6-4/Gallatin Co. KY) both scoring 11 points respectively.
The Pride held a 48-44 lead at the half and maintained a double figure margin most of the second half.
This Saturday at 4pm, Sinclair will host NJCAA Division I power Clinton Junior College out of Rock Hill (SC). All home games are played on the downtown Dayton campus in Building 8.
