Tartans Crush Cougars 18-8

Tuesday night was a night for offense at Grady's Field. The Pride batters knocked out 17 hits in their win against UC Clermont. Sinclair scored eight runs in the first inning but the Cougars had an answer. Clermont hitters took advantage of seven free bases given up by the Pride staff in the first three innings to cut the lead to 8-6. The Cougars wouldn't get any closer as Sinclair scored three runs in each of the next three innings and capped off the last inning with a sacrifice fly from Jake Heckman for the win.

Offensive Leaders: Justin Marrero 3-5 3RS 2B 3B 2RBI's, Clay Ragland 3-5 2RBI's, Tom McCowan 2-3 3RS 2B 2BB, Corey Throckmorton 2-3 2RS RBI, & Macklin Bray 2-3 2RS 2B 3RBI's.

The Pride will be back in action Friday night at home against #11 Grand Rapids CC. First pitch is set for 7pm.
