Sinclair Announces New Academic Chair

DAYTON, Ohio (07/11/08) – Sinclair Community College recently appointed Dr. Boikai Twe as the new chair of the Psychology Department.  Twe created the African American Studies program at Sinclair and was Chair of the African Development Advisory Committee of the American Friends Service Committee in Dayton.

Prior to working at Sinclair, Twe has taught at Wright State University, Dennison, Farris State University, the University of Cincinnati, University of Liberia and Monrovia College. 

Twe has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Berea College, a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Xavier University and a doctorate degree in Education from the University of Cincinnati.
