Men’s Basketball Wins Game Against Wright State University - Lake 83-57

Sinclair (6-1/0-0) Men’s Basketball wins a non-conference match up against Wright State University - Lake (3-5/0-0) 83-57.

Dayton, OH – Sinclair Men’s Basketball team won it’s second straight road game on the strength of solid defense.

As Sinclair enters this stretch of 7 straight road games that will have the Pride playing in three different states over the next month, the Pride pulled away in the second half to go 2-0 in this stretch.

Making a late first half run, Sinclair pulled out to a 7 point margin only to see that balloon all the way up to as many as 28 in the second half. Defense and bench play seems to be the common theme this years as Sinclair collected 47 points off the bench and held Wright State Lake to only 17% shooting in the second half (6-35). Solid full court man to man pressure and a plus 9 rebounding margin kept the home team at bay as the Pride scored several buckets in transition.

The Sinclair Men’s team will continue this stretch of the 7 game road swing with a Tuesday afternoon game in Philadelphia against the University of Pennsylvania JV team in the Palestra. After the game, the Pride will continue down the east coach for a off day in the Nations Capitol. Sinclair will spend the day visiting the Capitol and the Supreme Court as well as all the monuments before departing for Wheeling WV for a Thursday evening match up against West Virginia Northern C.C.
