Safety Awareness Expo and SLA Club Day

On Wednesday, September 28, 2011, Sinclair Police and the Student Leadership Association (SLA) will host the 24th Annual Safety Awareness Expo and SLA Club Day in the plaza area outside Building 10 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.

The Safety Awareness Expo has grown dramatically since 1987, when two area police departments set up information displays in the cafeteria. Last year, more than 30 police agencies, safety organizations and consumer protection groups participated—along with 15 Sinclair clubs and organizations—in more than 6,000 square feet of exhibit and demonstration space.

In 1996, Sinclair Police and the Sinclair SLA joined forces to drive an experimental campus-wide initiative to encourage safety awareness among students, staff and faculty both at school and at home—a venture that led Sinclair to a state-wide award. This year's expo is going to be more exciting than ever, and you are invited to participate.

Come to Sinclair's Dayton campus on September 28th and learn how you can encourage safety and security every day. Meet with representatives from Sinclair's Student Leadership Association and explore the variety of clubs and social organizations based at Sinclair.

Come and join us!
