Up 7 at half, Cincinnati state went on a 17-4 run to open up a 20 point second half lead on visiting Sinclair. On the hot hand of Mark Anderson (6-7/So) with a team high 39 points, the lead had been cut to 5 with 4 minutes to go. Anderson hit a 3 pointer with 18 seconds remaining to bring Sinclair to within 1. After two Cincinnati State made free throws, Sinclair missed a last shot at the buzzer to fall 103-100.
