Sinclair’s Summer Session has the Highest Student Enrollment in College’s History
More Visiting Students Taking Courses at Sinclair Than Ever
Sinclair Community College began its summer session this week with the largest first week summer enrollment in the college’s history. 13,041 students are enrolled in summer courses at Sinclair at this time, an over 3 percent increase over last year. It is expected that as the summer session progresses, well over 1,000 additional students will enroll at Sinclair. Additionally, college students at other institutions, commonly referred to as visiting students, are increasingly taking courses at Sinclair during the summer in order to take advantage of Sinclair’s tuition costs, which are the lowest of a ny college or university in the State of Ohio. Visiting student enrollment is up 16 percent.
"This is an exciting time for Sinclair and for our students," Sinclair President Steve Johnson said. "We are extremely proud that our enrollment has continued to grow and the increase in visiting students validates our approach to providing a high-quality and low-cost education."
