Baseball Wins 8-5 on Cold Snowy Day

Snowy Field

Men's Baseball wins 8-5 in the snow.

Once again battling the elements, Sinclair took on Northwestern Ohio in a single game at Grady's Field.  Game time temperature was 35 and Pride Freshmen Jared Bourelle made his first start of the season.  Bourelle scattered five hits in three innings of work and left the game with a 6-1 lead.  The lead was nearly gone in the top of the inning as UNOH scored four and had the tying run trip and fall on his way to home plate.  Sinclair responded in the bottom of the 5th with two more runs increasing their lead to 8-5.  Freshmen Ian Creager pitched three scoreless innings to get the win and the game was called after the top half of the 7th due to weather.

Final Score: Sinclair 8 UNOH 5

WP: Creager 1-0

Offensive Leaders: Brandon Napier 1-3 2 RS 2B 2 RBI's, Kyle Vander Ark 2-3 RS 2 2B's 3 RBI's.
