DAYTON, Ohio (07/07/10) – The Montgomery County Commission reappointed Mary Boosalis to serve on the Sinclair Community College Board of Trustees for a five-year term expiring July 1, 2015. She is currently the President and CEO of Miami Valley Hospital.

She has served on the Sinclair board for the past five years and is a member of the finance of the committee.

Boosalis spent ten years in California hospitals as an intensive care nurse before moving to Dayton to work at Mi ami Valley Hospital. After two years at MVH, she was hired as Vice President of Operations, and then in 1998 she was appointed Chief Operating Officer. In 2005, she became Miami Valley Hospital’s first female President.

She received her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing at California State University at Fresno and earned a Master’s degree in Health Services Administration from Arizona State University.
