Sinclair (1-0/0-0) Men’s Basketball takes season opener against Cedarville University JV (0-2/0-0) 86-52.

Dayton, OH – Sinclair Men’s Basketball team hosted Cedarville University’s JV team this evening in the opening game of the regular season.

Paced with 5 players in double figure scoring and 45 points coming from the bench, Sinclair pushed a 17 point half time lead to the final score 86-52. Leading the way in scoring for Sinclair with 13 points, 7 rebounds and 2 blocks, Sophomore Forward British Alexander (6-6/Trotwood-Madison H.S.). Sophomore guard Kevin Vest (6-1/Carroll H.S.) lead the team handing out a team high 7 assist as well as scoring 10 points. Rounding out the double figure score column, Freshman De’Angalo Gates (6-1/Thurgood Marshall H.S.) 12 points, Freshman Jared Nolan (5-8/Jefferson H.S.) and Sophomore Jason Clardy (6-7/Indianapolis, IN) with 10.

The Sinclair Men’s team will return to action at home on Wednesday the 11th of November (7:30pm) for non-conference match up with Southern State C.C.
