Sinclair Art Galleries Focus on Faculty this Fall

DAYTON, OH (08/30/10) -- The Sinclair Community College Art Department is pleased to announce a faculty art exhibit for the fall. The "Fine Art Faculty Exhibition" will run from September 8, 2010, to October 13, 2010, in Building 13 on the Dayton campus. A reception will be held on September 16, 2010, from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Throughout the year, the Art Department actively works to enhance student learning and enrich the Miami Valley’s cultural landscape by hosting gallery exhibits featuring the work of professional artists, students and faculty. The Sinclair Co mmunity College Art Galleries promote the development of professional and student artists and serve as an educational resource for the entire community. 

Sinclair features three galleries on the Dayton campus – the Burnell Roberts Triangle Gallery, the Works on Paper Gallery and the Hypotenuse Gallery. All three galleries offer mixed media displays and are located in Building 13 at the corner of Fifth and Perry Streets. 

The galleries are open Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Please note gallery hours change to correspond with campus hours during academic breaks and holidays.
