Dayton, OH – Sinclair Women’s Volleyball team traveled to Columbus Saturday for the completion of the Central Ohio Invitational. Facing off against three very strong opponents, the Pride won all three matches in impressive fashion. Showing steady improvement, Sinclair won all three matches on Saturday against a field that included two NJCAA Division II Top 25 Ranked team.
The first contest of the day matched the Pride against the College of Southern Maryland, ranked #19 in this week’s NJCAA Division II Poll. Setting the tone for a very exciting Saturday, The Pride won the first 2 games by only 2 points each. After dropping the third game of the match, Coach Gan’s team rallied to take the fourth game and the first match of the day.
Sinclair made quick work of the second match of the day by putting away Mercyhurst 3-0, with no game being closer than 9 points.
The Pride continued that momentum as they faced off against the Community College of Rhode Island, another Top 25 NJCAA Division II team. Sinclair posted another 3-0 win and dominated through-out the entire match.

Sinclair (3-2) will return to action Friday and Saturday at the Owens C.C. Invitational in Northwood, OH.
