Pride Heads to Regional Tournament

The Tartan Pride will head to Battle Creek Michigan this weekend for the Region 12 Tournament. This will be their 6th straight appearance in the regional, and 24th in program history.

Once again the Pride will open with Muskegon CC, who they have faced in the past two opening games. Hoping to regain the magic in 2009 where they finished runner-up, Sinclair will call upon Austin Pressly to pitch in game one. Pressly has had a great season and was dominate in conference play only allowing two earned runs in twenty-nine innings pitched. Pressly also hasn't lost a game since March 25th and carries a 6-1 record overall.

Game two starter will be 2010 OCCAC Pitcher of the Year, Jeremiah Kerns. Kerns has been a work horse for the Pride and is known to be a big game pitcher. The tournament bracket can be found on http://www.mccaa.org/regionxiibaseballtourn.htm and you can follow live games on Game Changer http://www.gamechanger.io/t/spring-2011/sinclair-cc-194668.
