The Pride called on Ryan West to make his first collegiate start Wednesday night and he didn't disappoint. West went 5 2/3 allowing 2 hits and one earned run en route to his first college win. Offensively the Pride knocked out 13 hits and were led once again by Taylor Hoisington 3-5 3B 5RBI'S. Other key contributers on the night were Nate Kautz 3-4 2 RBI'S, Taylor Messinger 2-4 HR 3 RBI's, and John Lydic 2-4 4RS.
The Pride will be facing regional opponents this weekend as Lake Michigan and Grand Rapids come to town for the Coach Jim Harrison Memorial Tournament. Starters for the weekend and game times will be announced in the next few days.
