Information on Student Texting
Starting in the 2013-2014 academic year, Sinclair will be giving students the option to receive SMS text messages as their financial aid files are being processed. Here are the details:
  • Sinclair uses One Call Now, an automated message notification service to send text messages. To opt-in to receive text messages from Sinclair, text ALERT to 22300. To stop receiving text messages at any time, text STOP to 22300. For help, text HELP to 22300. Message and data rates may apply.
  • Sinclair will send you text messages for the following events: when we receive the results of your FAFSA; if we need additional information from you to finish processing your financial aid file; and when your awards are ready to be accepted. You will not receive a text for a specific event if the event has occurred before you opt-in to receive text messages.
  • Sinclair will send no more than three text messages to you per month.
  • Standard message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile phone carrier for details.
  • Please note that these text messages do not include emergency text notifications. For information about signing up to receive emergency text message notifications from Sinclair, please click here.
