This class also includes functions and installation of operating systems as well as troubleshooting steps and common tools. Will help students in preparation for the CompTIA A+ Certification.

Outcomes
- Recognize and resolve common operating system malfunctions. Identify and use appropriate tools for resolving various issues with operating system software.
- Identify and resolve common hardware faults and failures. Troubleshoot, replace or upgrade hardware components commonly found in desktop and laptop computers.
- Install and/or upgrade current Windows operating system software to bring desktop and laptop computers to a basic operational level.
- Assemble commonly required components and install them in a standard desktop computer to bring the system to a basic operational level.
