All proceeds benefit the Lunchtime Hunger Project. The Lunchtime Hunger Project is sponsored by the Dietetics & Nutrition, Hospitality, and Social Work Clubs for the purpose of answering the call to action of addressing food insecurity on the Sinclair campus. The goal is to help students meet their basic needs by providing a free, healthy lunch that is accompanied by information and resources on how to prepare and purchase tasty, nutritious, and affordable food on a budget. Each week club members prepare approximately 40-45 lunches; each month they also distribute 25 meal tickets worth $5 each.
The event is open to all ages. Participants will receive a route map upon check-in. Water and a light snack will be provided. Presented by the Dietetics & Nutrition Club.
