Schroeder named OCCAC Women’s Co-Player of the Week

On January 20 it was announced that Madison Schroeder (Sinclair), along with Aysah Ingram (Owens), have been voted the Ohio Community College Athletic Conference (OCCAC) Co-Players of the Week in women's basketball.

Schroeder (6-00/SO – Dayton Carroll H.S.) produced 33 points, 14 rebounds, four assists, one steal and one block in a 72-52 win over Clark State. She finished 13-for-19 from the field and 6-for-6 from the free throw line. On Saturday, she went 8-for-18 from the field to finish with 22 points, nine rebounds, two assists, four steals and one block.Schroeder is averaging 13.2 points, 8.7 rebounds, 2.2 assists, two steals and 1.3 blocks per game in conference play for Sinclair (7-9 overall, 1-5 OCCAC).

Overall, she is averaging 15.5 points, 8.4 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 1.6 steals and 1.8 blocks per game.In league play, Schroeder is 17th in scoring, while Ingram is 21st. Ingram leads the league in rebounding, while Schroeder is ninth.
