Dayton, OH – Sinclair Women's Basketball team hosted Ohio Community College Athletic Conference rival Lakeland College on the campus of Sinclair this afternoon. Sinclair went into halftime with a 46-32 lead but Lakeland refused to back down and mounted a comeback that put them within 2 points with a minute to play. The Lady Pride made shots when it counted and hung on for a 68-62 conference win.

Leading the way for The Lady Pride with 16 points was Chelcie Gullett (Xenia), Emily Frey (Versailles) added 15 points and 9 rebounds and Jana Gross (Bellbrook) had 10 points with 5 assists. The Lady Pride were 81% from the free-throw line 17 of 21. The Lady Pride now stand 18-8 overall and 8-5 in the conference.

Sinclair will return to action at home on Friday, February 26 , 2010 at 4:00 PM as they take on Edison College for a birth to the NJCAA, District G Tournament. Sinclair basketball is played at the Physical Activities Center in Building 8, on the campus of Sinclair.
