Sinclair to Participate in Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. March and Rally

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. had a dream that all people, regardless of race, religion or color, would walk hand in hand together. We have come a long way since Dr. King's untimely death on April 4, 1968, yet there is still a great deal of work to be done to realize his dream of justice and equality for all Americans.

The Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. March & Rally is a way for all people, throughout the Greater Dayton Area, to come together and further the dream. Dr. King's dream was not just for African Americans, but for all Americans. He knew that all people must be part of the dream or justice and equality, or the dream will never be realized.

Together, on Monday, January 18, we can further that dream and Dr. King's vision. Together, from north, south, east and west, we can march and meet in the heart of the City of Dayton and celebrate harmony, nonviolence, justice and equality.

Join us for the Martin Luther King, Jr. Breakfast and Walk. The Breakfast and program will be from 9:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. in the Great Hall. Buses will leave Building 12 for the March at 9:40 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. Or you can begin your march at the steps of the SCLC Office at 10:30 a.m. Rally at Courthouse Square begins at 11:30 a.m.
