Tartans Beat Cuyahoga in OCCAC Action

Dayton, OH – Sinclair Men's Basketball team hosted Ohio Community College Athletic Conference rival Cuyahoga today on the campus of Sinclair. Taking a 3 point lead into halftime, The Tartan Pride applied defensive pressure late in the game to take a 78-74 win.

Leading the way for Sinclair was Damon Dillard with 21 points. Jason Clardy had another strong performance with a double-double 18 points and 11 rebounds. Carroll High School product Kevin Vest had 10 points and 7 assists and British Alexander (Trotwood) 9 points and 4 key blocks in the last two minutes.

Sinclair now stands at 15-3 overall, 2-2 in the conference and #12 in the latest NJCAA National Poll.

Sinclair will return to action at home on Saturday, January 30, 2010 at 4 :00 PM as they take on Lorain for Sinclair's Coaches vs. Cancer Game. Sinclair basketball is played at the Physical Activities Center in Building 8, on the campus of Sinclair.
