Sinclair Courseview to Offer Financial Aid Workshops and Information Sessions

MASON, Ohio (07/18/08) – Sinclair Community College will offer a financial aid workshops and information sessions at the Courseview Campus Center in Mason this summer.

Two financial aid workshops will be offered on Monday, July 21 from 6:00-7:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, July 23 from 3:00-4:00 p.m. Participants in the financial aid workshops will receive information on the application process and how to fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Attendees will need to bring:

· Students and parents 2007 federal tax return and W2’s (dependent students only)
· Parent’s social security number, birth date, marital status and date (dependent students only)
· Amounts of any additional income received in the entire year of 2007, such as child support, social security, welfare benefits, etc.

Six information sessions will also be offered throughout the summer for specific degree programs at the Courseview Campus. Sessions will be held from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and will include a tour of the campus, an overview of the specific program information as well as future job opportunities and enrollment information such as registration, financial aid and individual academic advising.
