Men’s Basketball Wins on the Road at the Ohio State University – Lima 93-69

Dayton, OH – Sinclair (3-1/0-0) Men’s Basketball defeated The Ohio State University – Lima (4-2) 93-69 Saturday afternoon.

Building an early lead on easy transition baskets against OSU-Lima’s aggressive full court pressure defense, the Pride posted a 14 point halftime margin 40-26.

The second half was much of the same as Sinclair scored easily in transition pushing the lead up to as many as 38 points.

Once again Sinclair had all 14 players see action tonight with 9 of them getting double figure minutes.

Leading the way for the Pride, Trent Maddox (6-5/Gallatin Co. H.S.-KY) scored 12 coming off the bench.

A trio of teammates followed Maddox in the scoring column with 11 points respectively; Austen Alabata (6-8/Toledo Scott H.S.), Darrien Wilkins (6-5/Cincinnati Princeton H.S.) and Josef Marshall (6-3/Trotwood Madison H.S.).  Rounding out the double figure scoring column for the Pride, Colton Everett (6-5/Ottawa-Glandorf H.S.) chipped in with 10.

Sinclair will return to action Monday at home as the Pride take on the Tigers from Wittenberg University.  Game time is set for 7:30pm; all home games are played on the downtown Dayton campus in Building 8.
